George McLeod, P.E.

Owner and Principal Engineer

George is the Principal of the firm and brings more than 40 years of experience in engineering consulting and business management. A 1985 graduate of Clemson University, he has extensive expertise in air quality permitting, water and wastewater system permitting, environmental compliance, and environmental management systems. Throughout his career, George has helped clients navigate complex regulatory requirements while developing practical, cost-effective environmental solutions. Outside of work, George and his wife, Gay, enjoy spending time with their three sons and three granddaughters. He enjoys working in his workshop and managing his small farm.


Hunter McLeod, P.E.

Director of Engineering

Hunter serves as Director of Insight Engineering and brings more than six years of experience in site design, stormwater management, and permitting. A 2019 graduate of The Citadel and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, he combines technical expertise with a practical approach to helping clients successfully navigate project planning and regulatory requirements. Since joining the firm, Hunter has played an important role in expanding the firm’s engineering capabilities. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor, and their daughter. An avid golf enthusiast, he enjoys both playing the game and following professional tournaments.


David Rogers

Senior Project Manager

David is a Senior Project Manager with over 45 years of experience in environmental consulting and project management. He holds a degree in Environmental Engineering Technology with a major in Environmental Health and Safety, bringing extensive technical knowledge and long-standing industry experience to client projects. He is a Heritage Club member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. David and his wife, Kelley, are proud parents of three children and grandparents of eight. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and kayak fishing.


Wayne Ramey

Senior Project Manager

Wayne serves as a Senior Project Manager with more than 30 years of experience in environmental regulatory consulting for industrial and municipal clients. A graduate of Clemson University, he holds both physical/chemical and biological wastewater treatment licenses. Throughout his career, he has supported clients in navigating complex environmental regulations and implementing effective, compliant treatment solutions. Wayne resides in the Upstate with his wife, Melissa, and enjoys spending his free time outdoors, on his family farm, and upland bird hunting. 


Chris Hannah

Senior Project Manager

Chris brings valuable hands-on operations and industrial maintenance experience to the firm, along with a practical understanding of the challenges faced by industrial facilities. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, his combination of field experience and technical knowledge allows him to develop practical, effective solutions tailored to client needs. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and their two children. In his free time, he can often be found hunting, fishing, or playing guitar.
